I have recently interviewed with a quite prominent company on the Internet in Canada. I was offered employment under the condition of impersonating a non-smoker. In other words the Hiring Manager new I was a smoker, and told me I would be fired if I were to be caught smoking by any other employee in the building. But the job was mine if I could hide it.
I was under the impression that discrimination was against the law in this country. They might have well have said my boobs were too big....lol...but if I could hide them...
wtf is our country coming to?
